What to think about for a gallery wall

There’s no right or wrong way to hang art, just different ways to express yourself. With the same wall and the same furniture, you can create four very different looks just by picking a specific way of hanging the art. Here are four tried and tested arrangements which create very different looks:

The Triangle

Adds a playfulness and a softer impression to a room with the artworks lining up along the bottom.

The Square

This look feels balanced, calm and considered, and can bring focus and order to a space if there is a lot going on elsewhere or if you prefer symmetry and minimalism.

The Diamond

This look feels balanced, calm and considered, and can bring focus and order to a space if there is a lot going on elsewhere or if you prefer symmetry and minimalism.

The Horizontal

With this arrangement the artworks create a relaxed, harmonious look that is perfect over a sofa or bed.
