With summer at its best, it's the perfect time to blur the boundaries between indoors and out. By using greenery, natural materials and considered details, you can easily create the feeling of a sunroom indoors.

The TV is often a central feature of the living room – but rarely the most aesthetically pleasing. Yet the rising trend of disguising the TV within a gallery wall is creating new opportunities for creativity. By framing the TV with art, you can incorporate the TV into your interior design – and create a wall that looks great, feels personal and is well put together. For this Art Advice assignment, we were given free rein to create a picture wall around a TV in a home that was already full of touching details. It was exciting to have a project where we weren’t staring with a blank wall, but refreshing an existing gallery wall with new details – the gallery wall included a piece painted by the client's father. This kind of personal detail creates a story and makes the final result feel more personal.
