INSPIRATION

Home Edit with Prete Moi Ta Veste

Marine, the creative voice behind @pretemoitaveste, is a Paris-based creator known for her vibrant blend of fashion, lifestyle and interior inspiration. On Instagram, she shares her personal style alongside colorful, thoughtfully curated spaces, showing how self-expression extends beyond the wardrobe and into the home.

Our in-house production team traveled to her Paris apartment to capture her vision for the Studio Soleil photo art collection. In her signature playful and expressive interiors, she styled the pieces in her own distinctive way, bringing the collection to life through her unique aesthetic which she describes as vintage, colorful and fun.

"When Desenio approached me with this collaboration, I immediately said yes because the collection perfectly matches my retro and colorful universe." says Marine

"Studio Soleil is a vibrant, colorful collection that truly feels like summer. The images instantly transport you to the South of France - it really makes you want to be there."

Styling compact spaces

In her compact apartment, Marine picked pieces that matched the aesthetic of her home. To Marine, home is a place where you feel good, and where you can reconnect with inspiration and lightness.

Her selection process was based on color: "I aimed to bring together prints and canvases with similar moods and tones. My favorite room is probably the living room. I love evolving the decor over time, and adding artwork is a big part of that process - it's what makes the space feel alive and inspiring."

The result is a carefully curated space. The vintage car in Riviera Ride is the same shade of green as striped pillows, creating harmony and rhythm, while the pattern and texture in Morning Ritual and Poolside Parade enhanced the pop of cobalt blue in the furniture.

In the bedroom, which features curtained storage in a soothing green tone, Seaside Stripes was placed on the wooden headboard alongside selected vintage finds.

"One of my favorite pieces is the Seaside Stripes canvas we put up in the bedroom. With the sea and the parasols, it creates a soft and calming atmosphere, which is perfect for winding down at bedtime."

In a corner by the window the peach shade on the striped cushions is repeated in a photograph of a French Riviera building facade in Palm and Pastel, continuing the cohesive color styling.

Marine’s advice for picking art for your home is to go with a real connection:

“My go-to tip would be to choose a piece that inspires you and evokes emotion, while making sure it blends harmoniously with the rest of your interior.”
