Tea Rudolf is a painter based in Slovenia who describes her work as feminine, playful, velvety, chic and messy yet sincere. She works on cotton or linen canvases and paints a base in acrylic and then layers oil paint over to create work that explores motherhood and the light and shadow of womanhood.

"I dedicate a lot of time to curating a specific vision for each new painting, asking myself which colors inspire me, what textures I want to "feel" with my eyes, and what kind of scene I want to step into every time I look at the piece. Once the idea is formed, the rest comes quite naturally. When that foundation is clear, the colors, the canvas, and my hands follow the core idea effortlessly."
